We would like to share our staffing plan for next academic year. There are a few changes:
- Mrs Cook is leaving us (after 14 years!) as she is relocating to Devon.
- Mr Gavaghan is on secondment for a year (and one year only!) so that he can experience a different setting. He will be back!
- Mr Bluck is re-joining the team! He has been a year 5 and 6 teacher at another school and we are delighted to have him back.
We are fortunate to have a dedicated and skilled team at Norton. In addition to our wonderful teachers and support staff, we have two HLTAs (higher level teaching assistants): Mrs Deas and Mrs Frost. HLTAs are trained to a level to teach whole classes.
Next academic year, we are continuing with single year groups and we are incredibly lucky to have such small numbers of children in each class. The class structure for next year is as follows:
