The school day:
We welcome children each morning from 8.40am. All children are expected to be in school by 8.55am, ready for registration. At the end of the day, children can be collected between 3.15-3.30pm.
Our school is at the heart of the community:
Norton Church Of England Primary School is situated in the heart of Norton Village, has many unique qualities and strengths. With 155 pupils on roll there is a wonderful community spirit. We are big enough to offer a good range of activities and facilities, yet small enough to offer a personal touch - every child matters. Children can start at our pre-school from 3 years old.
Norton Little Learners is situated within the school building. This makes for a smooth transition into the school as the children are familiar with the school environment early on. Children leave at the age of 11 when they go on to a variety of local secondary schools.
Mrs Farren (Head Teacher) likes to meet each family individually and show them round the school to see it in action and answer any questions. Most Friday afternoons we have a sharing assembly which a lot of our parents attend. Prospective parents have the opportunity to join us for this assembly.
