Church links in school:
We value the important role our local church plays in the life of our school and are looking forward to developing and revitalising these links as we await the appointment of a new vicar. Interviews are taking place imminently, and we are hopeful that this will mark the beginning of an exciting new chapter in our relationship with the local benefice.
In the meantime, we are incredibly grateful to our supporting vicar, Reverend Phillipa, who has kindly stepped up to support the benefice during this interim period. We are particularly thankful for her support in helping us to welcome iSingPOP into school this October. The children came together to learn songs and perform a special concert for their families and the wider community, celebrating wonderful Christian values through music and singing. It was a special celebration of our school and wider community, bringing people together from across the locality to share in the joy of singing, friendship and faith.
We look forward to building on opportunities like this and welcoming a new vicar into our school community to worship with us, celebrate our Christian faith and help strengthen our links with the local church.

Below are some photos showing one of the prayer spaces our previous vicar came in to do with the junior children. They were reflecting on themselves, the wider community and the world. With a theme of peace running throughout. After explaining each station, the children were left to self-guide themselves to each one.
