Hello! Im Vicky Young. I am an enthusiastic early years practitioner, committed to supporting children’s early development and learning. I believe in celebrating every child’s uniqueness and individuality, giving them the encouragement to shine brightly, and to be proud of who they are and what they have achieved. I like to work as a team member to provide a nurturing environment where all children can explore, grow and thrive. With over 15 years of experience and a qualification in Children’s Care, Learning and Development, I understand the importance of making the early years count, ensuring that open ended learning opportunities are offered with fun, laughter and creativity. I also understand the importance of play, and I love observing the valuable learning opportunities that come naturally as children explore, investigate and test their own ideas.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends. I love to visit theme parks, and go on family adventures! I also like bike riding and ice-skating. When I am spending time at home, I enjoy moments of creativity with crochet projects. I love exploring new recipes, and although I am still practising making cakes, I am most successful when making yummy cheesecakes!!
